Open Days

Not sure if croquet is the sport for you? Please join us on 12th May to find out.

Even if you’ve never set foot on a croquet lawn, we hold open days during the season so you can come along and see what the game is like.

We provide all the equipment so that you can try the game easily. One of our members will give you a round so that you can see what fun it is.  You just need to wear some flat-soled shoes and we’ll have you playing really quickly.

This is a national event, unsurprisingly called National Croquet Day. We’ll be at our lawn behind the Uplyme Village Hall between 10am and 4pm. Drop by at any time that day, have a go, take a cool drink and a slice of cake.

Bring a friend, bring your family, or just arrive by yourself. You’ll be sure of a friendly welcome, and croquet is fun. Mind you, once you have played a few games it begins to challenge you, so prepare to get hooked.

To try your hand at other times, just call the Secretary who will arrange to meet you at the club and introduce you, your friends and family to the game. To get in touch, click on this link – contact us , or the one at the top of every page.
