The club has its own lawn, hedged about and with a stream running along one side. Here we have our own little clubhouse. Next door is the Cricket Club, whose pavilion we share. We currently have our own three quarter sized lawn and one full size lawn mown on the cricket outfield. By agreement, we have occasional use of the cricket clubhouse.
Our playing season runs from April to October, and members are free to use the club facilities and equipment whenever they want, subject to lawn availability as below.
Through our agreement with the Cricket Club, the lawn on their outfield may be used only on Monday and Thursday afternoons. These are the times when we run our biweekly Club Sessions, when any member can roll up, find another suitable player and play a game.
The Briault Lawn can be booked through the Lawn Booking System which you’ll find under Taking Part in the main menu. It is available every day, unless already booked. You can only use the lawn when you have booked.
