FAMILY VISITS AT THE LYM VALLEY CROQUET CLUB. In an exciting development in croquet nationwide – Croquet England is introducing this perfect summer game to juniors as well as adults of all ages. We’re proud that so far our club in Uplyme has introduced croquet to more than 100 children. The response from scout groups, schools and families has been very positive. Now in the summer holidays we’re offering free taster sessions to families. If there is sufficient demand, on Wednesday and Saturday mornings at 10 o’clock we will run introductory sessions at our croquet lawn in the Uplyme Playing Field so families have a go at this fun game. Adults and children are welcome. Children should be 8 years plus and be accompanied by parents or their carer. Flat shoes must be worn. This offer will run until the end of September.
